18th August 2016 Carsington

Superb views today of a cracking Greenshank in front of Sheepwash Hide, and in lovely sunshine! This bird at times was actually chasing fish in the shallows. There must have been a lot of fish in the bay as the Cormorants were also right up into the shallows feeding very actively.

Also present where the usual suspects and at the WLC a female Tufted Duck had two very cute fuzzy youngsters, and a Lesser Black back was unusually close in.
