23rd February, Millers Dale area.

Well we were thinking of a walk out and wondering where to go when Mick Lacey put a tweet out that the Mezereum was flowering in the Peak. Now I have been trying to see this plant in flower in Derbyshire for a long time, however I have not tried for a long time. We set off and parked at Millers Dale…. and went to the wrong spot. I thought it all looked wrong from my hazy memories! Suprisingly we didn’t find the flowers…. We reached the right area as the light went. Never mind we enjoyed a great walk in the Peak and saw some nice stuff.
