2nd October 2015 Harborough Rocks, Derby’s.

An afternoon stroll up on the trail at Harborough Rocks area on a beautiful sunny afternoon, saw us get a single Rock Pipit calling as it flew over heading towards Carsington.

Other fare was more routine with plenty of Skylarks heading south west along with Meadow Pipits and a single Lesser redpoll. One of the 2 stubble fields on the route held a large flock of 300+ corvids, a typical autumn scene.

Scabious still hanging on.

Red is becoming a dominant colour
