9th September…. Small Update!

Due to ill health I’ve not been able to do much to post about but we have done the odd bit, last night we went up to Carsington Water and were suprised to hear there was a Black necked Grebe on site. We eventually got views from the wildlife centre. It was a little distant but gave nice comparisons with a couple of Little Grebes. We had not been up much at all this year and it was nice to see duck numbers were going up as autumn arrives.

A Common Sand showed well in front of the WLC… pity photos are alsmost impossible due to the double glazing!

3 Shovelers were right in front of the WLC, showing really well in the gathering dusk… such cool bills they have!
