Carsington.

A couple of trips up to Carsington this week, the first one the 8th was a quick call in to get photo’s for a booklet, but we saw waders though with 1 juv Ruff, 5 Dunlin and 3 Ringed Plovers on Stones.

The 12th produced waders on Stones too, with 7 Ringed Plovers (inc at least one tundrae type) and 5 Dunlins. Sadly though no sign of last nights Curlew Sands….Tree Pipit flew over calling and there was a distant Yellow Wagtail with Pieds near the Sailing Club.
